An authentic experience to share with your family and children while you are staying in Puglia

Would you like to learn how to make fresh pasta in Puglia? You have found an authentic making class combined with a dairy farm tour.
The experience takes place within the walls of an ancient Apulian farmhouse (masseria). Here, in a typical and suggestive setting, you will learn the proper recipe to prepare the dough and the techniques to obtain the typical pasta shapes:

A cooking class that will teach you how to make home-made fresh pasta easily surrounded by the warmth and kindness typical of Puglia.

The experience will end with a rich tasting of dairy products, local cured meats such as the famous Capocollo from Martina Franca, and products cooked in a wood-burning oven, all served with Apulian wine.
Upon request, the tasting of typical products can be replaced by a complete menu prepared with the organic products from the farm by the restaurant of the farm itself.

We highly recommend this experience for families and children, this is an educational opportunity to learn while having fun!

Discovering a typical Apulian farmhouse

During the guided tour you will discover:

  • the ancient part of the farm and the modern farm recently restored;
  • how the characteristic Apulian trulli are made;
  • the ancient local stone church;
  • the breeding farm;
  • the organic garden;
  • an Apulian cheese factory where dairy products and cheeses such as mozzarella, burrata and caciocavallo; are produced;
  • the wood-burning oven where bread, friselle and taralli are baked every day.

The farm where you will live this experience is located in the heart of the Itria Valley, a few kilometers from its characteristic villages as Martina Franca , Ostuni, Cisternino, Alberobello and Locorotondo.

The whole experience at the masseria was the absolute highlight of our trip in Puglia. We made the all inclusive tour and every single activity will stay impress in our hearts forever. To see how Puglia dairies are done was mind-blowing. Pasta making was so fun too! Marco is also very reliable, passionate and professional. The tours organised by Marco are a must-activity on your vacation in Puglia.

Amazing experience! Beautiful masseria, we saw the whole production process of their fresh cheeses and were able to taste fresh burratas straight from the cheesemaker. Tour of the farm and the animals was amazing too. Pasta class was fun and easy, and the tasting was wonderful. A LOT of food if you take the lunch.

We enjoyed the experience. We only wished that we could have sampled our own pasta! The tasting session was good but we felt there was a bit too much food. Otherwise had a great time as Marco is very patient and informative.
