E-bike tour in the park of thousand-year-old olive trees with sunset aperitif

An itinerary through rural landscapes and local food of Puglia

If you are curious to explore the natural beauty of Puglia, this tour will allow you to do so, together with experienced local guides, on comfortable electric bikes.
We will cycle along paths flanked by ancient olive trees, silent witnesses to the changing of the seasons and true icons of our region.
We will also visit other typical architecture of the Apulian territory such as the Dolmen and Masserie.
We will then reach a breathtaking viewpoint, and wait together for the sunset, enjoying the surrounding panorama and tasting an aperitif consisting of typical Apulian products.

How does the experience take place?

After meeting the guide, there will be a short briefing on the proper use of electric bikes to get familiar with them before departure.
The tour covers a very easy and smooth route through the rural paths of the Dune Costiere Regional Natural Park, a protected oasis located close to the municipalities of Ostuni and Fasano.
During the experience, the guide will share detailed information about the area, historical facts about its main attractions such as the Dolmen, the ancient Via Traiana, the numerous farmhouses and stories about rural life.
During the bike ride, it will be possible to taste seasonal fruits picked directly from the trees.
The park houses the largest number of monumental olive trees in Puglia, some of which are over 2,000 years old. The guide will talk about their importance in olive oil production.
At the end of the tour, there will be a stop at a majestic olive tree from which you can enjoy an impressive panoramic view of the surrounding area. Here, awaiting the sunset and its romantic colours, a rural picnic based on typical local products will be set up.
Afterwards, we will return to the initial meeting point.
