We have planned an unforgettable experience just for you: we will start with the traditional hand harvesting in the vineyard together with experienced local farmers. Afterwards, you will take part in the ritual of the traditional grape harvest lunch – a real step back in time!
The harvested grapes will then be taken to the winery for the vinification process.
You will also take part in a guided tour of the winery and the wine museum located there: an interesting educational tour to discover how Apulian wine is produced.
Lastly, you will taste some of the most prestigious wines produced by the winery.

Harvest is an ancient peasant ritual full of charm that has been repeated for centuries in Apulia. The numerous vineyards that spread across Puglia are faithful witnesses to the hard work of humans to harvest their precious fruits.
It is expected with great concern, because the harvest is a synthesis of all the work done during the year. Will it be a good year? How much wine will be produced? These are the most common questions farmers and producers ask themselves in the months leading up to the harvest.
The harvest consists of moments that smell of ripe grapes and earth, warmed by the August sun.
We also want you to be able to participate in this magical atmosphere and experience the splendor of our wonderful Apulian land by picking grapes among the rows of vines.

Detailed programme for the day

• 10:00 am: WELCOME TO THE WINERY

With boots and gloves on, we will move into the vineyard to begin the grape harvest under the guidance of experienced winemakers. The grapes will be harvested by hand using special scissors supplied by us.

• 12:30 pm: FARMER’S LUNCH

After the harvest, we will have lunch together with the farmers as it used to be done in the past. The grape harvest is the conclusion of a year of hard work and sacrifice in the fields, but it is also a moment for celebrating and sharing. We will share these emotional moments together, taking a step back in time.

• 13:30 pm: GUIDED TOUR OF THE WINERY AND TASTING

The harvested grapes will be brought to the winery where the winemaking process will begin. This will be followed by a visit to the winery and the wine museum. A final tasting completes the experience.

NOTE: all the material needed for the grape harvest (boots, gloves and scissors) will be provided by us.
