We will take you to a farm located a few kilometers from the beautiful city of Trani where tradition and innovation form a perfect combination.
A fascinating guided tour awaits you here, a real journey through the production cycle of Apulian wine.
The company is located at the end of an avenue dotted with ancient oaks: 200 hectares of vineyards just a step away from Trani.
The old cellar dates back to 1884 while the vineyard has the most modern wine production equipment. Nearby is the ancient masseria, the current residence of the owners.
A centuries-old olive grove from which virgin olive oil is produced, organic cherries and almond trees surround this magical place where Moscato di Trani Dop is born.

The production of Moscato di Trani DOP

The maximum expression of the native vine is represented by Moscato di Trani.
Of very ancient origins, probably dating back to the Greek era, it then spread throughout the Mediterranean basin.
In 1987 Moscato di Trani obtained the recognition of the DOP (Denominazione di Origine Controllata which means Controlled Designation of Origin), and was distinguished in the Trani countryside from the other muscats, with the Royal name.
The vineyards are located in limestone areas characterized by a microclimate that softens the roughness, and is cultivated on very limited surfaces.

The stages of the tour

The experience is composed as follows:

1. visit of the vineyards with agronomic explanations from pruning to harvesting, specifying the characteristics of the territory and the products of the farm;
2. visit of the cellar dug into the stone of Trani;
3. visit of the barrel cellar with explanation of the vinification and bottling phases;
4. tasting of 3 wines plus Moscato di Trani Dop accompanied by typical Apulian products.
