The bike ride runs through the millennial olive-grove plain. Here, in this natural treasure situated between the Adriatic Sea and the Murge plateau (a 500-hectare woodland area), monumental olive trees are widespread through the land. Their shape, carved by the wind and the flow of time, is unique just like their dating: some of the trees are 3000 years old. They are wooden giants, witnesses of our time.
In this natural reserve is enclosed the typical rural beauty of Apulia: country paths delimited by characteristic dry-stone walls, land cultivated only by peasant hands, magnificent iconic Apulian masserie with their varied architectural styles.
After riding our horses through the monumental olive trees, we will ride along country paths surrounded by greenery. We will then reach the beach to ride by the sea while the sun sets on the horizon. Finally, we will return to the stables passing through sand dunes full of local Mediterranean scrub.
