From vineyard to bottle: wine tasting in Apulia
In the countryside surrounding Grottaglie, in a dominant position with panoramic views over the bay of Taranto, we will visit a winery located in an old farm from 1400.
Here, vineyard owners have dedicated themselves to producing grapes of the highest quality for 8 generations.
Our guided tour will begin in the backyard, the ancient outer area of the farm once used for grinding wheat.
Then we will move to the vineyard, where we will deepen the properties of the soil and the adopted techniques of viticulture.
Afterwards, we will visit wine-producing plants, where we will discover together the different stages of the wine-making process.
To conclude the tour, there will be a guided technical tasting hosted in the suggestive barrel cellar, where the company’s finest wines rest and are refined before being bottled.
A complete travel experience that will reveal the reasons for the growing recognition of Apulian brands in international markets.
