Cycling through the enchanting Valle d’Itria in Puglia
By choosing this experience we will cycle together for about 15 km along the Apulian Aqueduct cycle route, one of the most beautiful cycle routes in Italy.
The cycle route runs along the main channel of the aqueduct and is a popular destination for cycling enthusiasts from all over the world. It covers much of the Valle D’Itria, including the characteristic villages of Martina Franca, Ostuni, Alberobello, Cisternino and Locorotondo.
We will travel into the rural heart of Puglia, far from the cities, surrounded by the lush greenery.
We will admire the characteristic trulli, vineyards, olive groves and the many cultivated fields with their characteristic dry-stone walls.
One of the most fascinating aspects of our bike ride are the stops to enjoy the wonderful panoramic views offered by the cycle route.
The guides will also tell us about the history of the aqueduct, the local plants and the typical buildings we will discover during the ride.
