We truly enjoyed our two-hour olive oil tour and tasting in Puglia. After driving through the olive groves for three days, we arrived at the Masseria Savoia in search of answers. “Rosaria” patiently answered all of our questions about cultivating olives trees, managing olive groves, and making and refining extra virgin olive oil. It was a wonderful experience. We just received, at our home in Pennsylvania, the six bottles of extra virgin olive oil that we purchased! One day, we’d like to come back and see the new museum that Savoia is building. Such a rich history of olive oil dating back centuries. Our visit to the Masseria Savoia booked through Terra Che Vive was one of the highlights of our three week trip to Italy. Thank you. Hilary Doylestown, Pennsylvania USA

Jenny BanksOur host was exceptional and very kind, providing us with a variety of local foods to try, along with stories to go with them. The experience itself was very intimate and authentic, as we prepped 3 types of pasta in an old wine cellar and ate our preparations (and then some) on the back patio. We learned a great deal about Italian living and the food was absolutely delicious. The intention is to do this anytime were in the Puglia region!
Claire LoughranThe whole crew of 3 was so amazing! I can't remember everyone's names, but Pia and her daughter and I think Marco were all so kind and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed the class. Definitely suitable to beginners and novice cooks. Next time for our group I would maybe ask for something more challenging or to have us do every single step of the process with them, but it was the perfect amount of work for while drinking & just enjoying our vacation. They even let my baby participate :) The end result was so delicious as was the wine made by Pia's brother. Wish I could have brought that wine home!

Mihai CherechesuWe had a wonderful time at the farm. Marco was an excellent guide and explained everything with such energy. The cheese makers showed us a variety of the different ways they make the cheeses. After the tour we had a "sampling" of different cheeses, salamis and homemade wine. It was all so fresh and tasty, we couldn't eat any more. And then they brought out a desert. We didn't eat for rest of the day! I would highly recommend this as a fun and interesting thing to do for kids and adults the same.
