The experience Cooking class learn how to make fresh pasta in a farm will take place within the walls of an ancient Apulian farmhouse. Here, in a typical and suggestive setting and under the guidance of a highly experienced chef, you will discover the traditional way of making Apulian pasta. You will learn the proper recipe to prepare the dough and the processing techniques to obtain the typical Apulian types of pasta:

A cooking class that will teach you how to make home-made fresh pasta easily surrounded by the warmth and kindness typical of Puglia.

The experience will end with a rich tasting of dairy products, local cured meats such as the famous Capocollo from Martina Franca, and products cooked in a wood-burning oven, all served with Apulian wine.
Upon request, the tasting of typical products can be replaced by a complete menu prepared with the organic products from the farm by the restaurant of the farm itself.

Discovering a typical Apulian farmhouse

During the guided tour you will discover:

  • the ancient part of the farm and the modern farm recently restored;
  • how the characteristic Apulian trulli are made;
  • the ancient local stone church;
  • the breeding farm;
  • the organic garden;
  • an Apulian cheese factory where dairy products and cheeses such as mozzarella, burrata and caciocavallo; are produced;
  • the wood-burning oven where bread, friselle and taralli are baked every day.

The farm where you will live this experience is located in the heart of the Itria Valley, a few kilometers from its characteristic villages as Martina Franca , Ostuni, Cisternino, Alberobello and Locorotondo.
